Bloomery
Compact steel volume pedal with direct-drive shaft and no string. Dual buffer in active mode.
Tapestry Audio was founded around 2013 by Ryan Baucom, who designs pedals solving real-world performance problems. After creating the Time Traveler tap tempo controller, the company spent 10 months developing the Bloomery to reimagine the volume pedal.
The Bloomery uses a slide potentiometer with direct shaft drive eliminating the failure-prone string mechanism of traditional volume pedals. Solid steel construction keeps it rugged despite compact 7.8" × 2" × 2" dimensions. Active version includes dual buffer circuitry to prevent tone loss and runs on 9V center-negative at 20mA. Passive version requires no power. Both include tuner output (configurable as expression output on passive).
Designed for small pedalboards where traditional volume pedals consume too much space. Made in USA.
