The Red Ripper is Tech 21's all-analog bass distortion featuring the unique R.I.P. control that manipulates harmonic content and distortion character. The circuit responds dynamically to playing touch.

Level, Tone, and Drive provide standard shaping while the R.I.P. control powers your tone from vintage fuzz through tectonic distortion into Brassmaster-style octave fuzz territory. Three-band active EQ: Low (+22/-12dB at 120Hz), Mid (12dB at 500Hz), High (+30/-12dB at 2.5kHz).

Low Pass Filter switch compensates for full-range bass systems with tweeters. 1kΩ low-impedance output drives long cables without signal loss. Buffered bypass, heavy-duty all-metal construction. USA made.
