Sansamp Classic
Original 1989 analog amp/speaker simulator. Three amp voicings, 8 character switches.
The SansAmp Classic is Tech 21's original 1989 FET-based amp and speaker simulator that revolutionized recording and live sound. The 100% analog technology emulates the entire signal chain from preamp to power amp to speaker cabinet with zero latency.
A 3-position input switch selects Lead (Marshall-style), Normal (Mesa Boogie-style), or Bass (Fender-style) preamp voicings. Eight character switches adjust tonality, harmonics, and dynamics. Four knobs shape preamp contours, power amp contours, volume, and final tone.
Used on countless Grammy-winning records across every genre from death metal to commercial jingles. The remarkably touch-sensitive dynamics and amp-like response set it apart from digital modelers. 9V battery or DC power.
