The Sound of Justice FX is a Huntington Beach, California operation run by Jeremiah Justice, an engineer with 20+ years building musical equipment and 30+ years as a musician. The company specializes in hand-built boutique clones using quality components.

The Son of Ben is based on the Benson Amps Preamp, which replicates the Chimera 30-watt amp using FET transistors instead of tubes. Four controls (Gain, Volume, Treble, Bass) shape the tone from clean boost through overdrive to full fuzz. No diode clipping means the FET saturation creates amp-like breakup with rich harmonics. Treble adds shine and warmth, while bass cuts from deep bass to mid-range focus.

Ships properly biased with three internal trim pots for experimentation. True bypass. Boss-style 9V power at 50mA.
