Stereo
Stereo ducking/sidechain compressor with dual triggers, optical compression, and thru jack.
The Pill Stereo is a Swiss-made analog ducking pedal (sidechain compression) designed for stereo setups, live performance, and studio production. Berlin-designed and handmade in Switzerland, it uses passive optical signal ducking with hand-selected components individually calibrated by ear. The Hammond 1590BB enclosure (119.5 × 94 × 38mm) houses the stereo circuitry with professional I/O routing.
Dual 1/4" audio inputs accept stereo signals, while dedicated trigger inputs include a 1/4" jack for audio triggers and a 1/8" jack for CV/Gate triggers—both usable simultaneously. A trigger thru jack allows daisy-chaining multiple units. Two controls—Release (ducking duration) and Depth (ducking volume)—provide intuitive shaping from subtle pumping to extreme rhythmic gating. The circuit handles everything from guitar/mic levels to studio line levels.
True bypass or buffered bypass modes are selectable via internal switch, both using a relay-operated silent footswitch. Running on 9-12V DC center-negative at 40mA, the Stereo version delivers transparent analog ducking without digital artifacts. Perfect for adding EDM-style sidechain compression, creating rhythmic space, or achieving the classic ducking effect heard in modern electronic and pop production.
