Original version of the true optical Uni-Vibe circuit using a real incandescent bulb and four light-dependent resistors. Fully analog signal path throughout. Designed by ThorpyFX before the Block 2 redesign.

Intensity (modulation depth), Offset (LFO ramp-up shape for waveform shaping), Speed, and Volume controls. Two footswitches: On/Off and Vib/Cho toggle. The Offset control is unique to this design, allowing LFO waveform reshaping for different Uni-Vibe flavors.

Named after NASA's ER-2 high-altitude aircraft derived from the U-2. Designed for classic Uni-Vibe sounds from Hendrix-era psychedelia to Gilmour-style modulation. Uses a real incandescent lamp rather than LED. 150mA minimum current draw, 100mm x 125mm x 53mm.
