MkI Tone Bender silicon fuzz plus analog tremolo by Dan Coggins in one enclosure
Dual-circuit pedal combining a MkI Tone Bender-based fuzz using silicon transistors with an analog tremolo designed by Dan Coggins. Fuzz feeds into tremolo in fixed order—the fuzz needs to see the guitar signal directly with no buffer in front.
Depth (tremolo wet/dry mix), Rate (tremolo speed), Attack (fuzz gain with a sweet spot for richest harmonics), and Level (fuzz output volume). Vintage-inspired design where the fuzz must be first in the signal chain for proper operation.
Originally designed in collaboration with Andertons Music for their 60th anniversary as a limited run of 200 units, later made available in standard colorway. MkI Tone Bender fuzz topology with silicon transistors instead of germanium. 35mA current draw, 9V DC.
