Janus

The Janus is named after the two-faced Roman god, featuring tremolo and fuzz that can run independently or in series. Dual joysticks provide intuitive X/Y control—left joystick handles tremolo rate/depth, right joystick controls fuzz gain/tone.

This joystick approach enables real-time parameter sweeps impossible with traditional knobs. Move the tremolo joystick to simultaneously change rate and depth. Move the fuzz joystick to blend gain amount and tonal character. It's remarkably expressive for performance.

Individual volume controls for each effect, plus a blend knob for the fuzz section, provide mix flexibility. Both effects can be engaged together or separately via individual footswitches. When combined, thick textured fuzz pulses with rhythmic tremolo movement. A pink LED indicates tremolo rate. Works well for guitar, keys, vocals, or synths.
