Trace Acoustic is Peavey's brand for acoustic amplification, known for the iconic Trace Elliot line. The Clarity pedal applies Peavey's proprietary Kosmos technology—originally developed for bass amps—to acoustic-electric instruments.

The pedal uses two proprietary variable filters controlled by dedicated LOW and HIGH pots to enhance harmonic undertones at both frequency extremes without masking the instrument's core voice. It operates at unity gain (input and output fixed) but runs on an internal bipolar 18V supply (generated from standard 9V) to provide +/-9VDC voltage rails for exceptional dynamic range and headroom, preventing input clipping even with hot pickups.

Designed to sit inline between any acoustic-electric instrument and PA systems, amplifiers, or pedalboards. True bypass switching preserves tone when disengaged. Launched in 2025.
