The Floyd Fuzz from Tru-Fi is named after Pink Floyd and David Gilmour's iconic Big Muff tones. Unlike modern clones using surface-mount components, this pedal uses the same vintage transistors that came in the original units, delivering authentic period-correct sound.
Five classic circuit versions are available: Tri-Angle (milder original EH design), RAMs Head (classic 70s fuzz distortion), Creamy Dreamer (late 90s higher-gain design from a private builder), Red Army (80s reissue variant), and Russian (80s reissue variant). Each version captures a distinct era of Big Muff evolution, from the gentle Triangle to the aggressive Ram's Head.
Handbuilt in the USA, the pedal runs on 9V power and features standard Big Muff controls (Sustain, Tone, Volume). Custom finishes including swirls, sparkle, and chrome are available. Featured on That Pedal Show, it has earned praise for build quality and authentic vintage sound across all five circuit options.
