UREI LA-3A-inspired optical compressor with 4:1 Soft and 10:1 Hard ratios and auto attack/release.

The Zipper MKII delivers optical compression inspired by the UREI LA-3A with tons of headroom and punch. Hand-selected optical element provides auto-adjustable attack and release based on signal strength. Toggle selects Hard (10:1) or Soft (4:1) compression ratios.

Compress control up to 9 o'clock works as maximizer or clean booster. Higher settings produce punchy, percussive sound perfect for Gilmourish licks, funk, and chicken picking. Remains discreet and quiet while preserving tonal character.
