Proxima

The Twilight Pulse Audio Works Proxima is a MOSFET overdrive/fuzz pedal fully hand-built with high-quality through-hole components. The gain range takes you from raw, fat, low-gain breakup to rugged, full-range fuzz tones. The circuit is built around an obsolete NOS Harris/Intersil CA3260E BiMos Opamp that provides a particular fizz to its decay.

The pedal clips with hand-selected NOS RFT silicon diodes from the German Democratic Republic (GDR/DDR) era, giving it a unique character that rips unlike any other modern pedal. Three controls shape the sound: Gain (distortion amount), Mass (output volume), and Refine (tone shaping).

The use of obsolete NOS components gives the Proxima a distinctive voice that can't be replicated with modern parts. Hand-built by Twilight Pulse Audio Works, each Proxima represents boutique craftsmanship with rare vintage components.
