Konstante

The Twilight Pulse Audio Works Konstante is an overdrive pedal based on the Lightspeed circuit with an integrated EP-style preamp boost from the 1960s-70s era. Four diodes arranged in an asymmetrical configuration provide higher gain range and increased headroom courtesy of an internal charge pump.

Both the overdrive and boost circuits operate independently and are stackable, with an order switch bringing versatility for different stacking configurations. The dual-circuit design delivers amp-like response with the right amount of gain, sustain, and clarity—smooth dynamics and touch responsiveness with grit and punch that doesn't overpower.

Running on 9VDC at 100mA center negative, the Konstante represents Twilight Pulse Audio Works' approach to refined overdrive design. Hand-built with attention to detail, it offers a Swiss Army knife of drive tones in a single pedal.
