HP-X

A versatile Harmonic Percolator-style distortion built with carefully selected and measured silicon transistors for consistent biasing and temperature-stable performance. Silver mica, poly film, and ceramic capacitors deliver a clear, present but warm tone.

The Harmonics knob controls input level, sweeping from even-order overdrive to totally squished-out gated fuzz. Balance sets output volume. A three-position clipping switch selects between asymmetrical germanium diodes, diode lift for louder all-transistor distortion, and symmetrical silicon diodes.

Variable input impedance ensures the HP-X sounds great anywhere in the signal chain. Handmade near Philadelphia, PA.
