Shanks ODS-1

The Shanks ODS-1 is a signature overdrive developed collaboratively between Vemuram and renowned producer/guitarist John Shanks, whose credits include work with countless major artists. It represents years of prototyping to achieve Shanks' vision for the perfect versatile studio and stage overdrive.

The transparent overdrive design offers a wide tonal range. In Shanks' own words: "It's a beautiful transparent overdrive that one can use to find that perfect balance of overdrive and distortion...from a mild push to full on for solos." The circuit maintains clarity even at higher gain settings, never getting muddy or compressed.

Controls include Level, Gain, and Tone knobs, with two internal trim potentiometers for Bass and Saturation adjustment, allowing customization beyond the standard controls. This makes it adaptable to different guitars, amps, and musical contexts. Current draw is 15mA. Dimensions are 70mm wide by 113mm deep by 50mm tall, weighing 425g.
