EP Drive

The EP Drive V3 combines two independent circuits in a single enclosure: an Echoplex preamp-based boost/tone shaper capable of up to 15dB of clean gain, and a low-gain overdrive with asymmetrical soft clipping. Each circuit can be engaged independently or stacked together. An effect order switch determines signal flow, allowing Drive-into-Preamp or Preamp-into-Drive routing. Uses a high-quality Burr Brown op-amp with internal charge pump that elevates the 9V supply for increased headroom and cleaner operation.

Control layout includes Hi Cut and Lo Cut toggle switches for frequency shaping, plus standard gain and volume controls for each circuit. Soft-touch switching provides silent, relay-based bypass. Compact footprint measures 120 × 65 × 39 mm (68mm including footswitches).

Runs exclusively on 9V DC center-negative power (higher voltages void warranty). The internal charge pump handles voltage conversion automatically. Covered by limited lifetime warranty.
