The Klein Bottle 2022 represents VFE's most complex and experimental offering, designed for noise makers, soundscape artists, endless tinkerers, and tone wizards. The pedal splits input signal into three independent effects loops, each with dedicated pre-gain, HPF/LPF bandwidth filters (high-pass/low-pass for controlling frequency content), and mix level. The magic happens through six feedback controls sending signal from one loop into another and back again, creating complex signal routings impossible with standard pedal switchers or mixers.
Bandwidth filters range from 33Hz to 3.3kHz (HPF) and 230Hz to 2.3kHz (LPF), allowing precise frequency sculpting going into each loop. Master and Dry controls set overall output and original signal blend. Loop feedback controls enable self-oscillation, infinite sustain, and chaotic interactions when external effects pedals occupy the loops. Insert delay in Loop 1, reverb in Loop 2, fuzz in Loop 3, then use feedback controls to route delay into reverb, reverb into fuzz, fuzz back into delay—creating evolving textures that change over time.
