The V1 Triangle faithfully recreates the original 1969 Electro-Harmonix Triangle Big Muff, the very first Big Muff variant that launched the legendary fuzz lineage. Triangles are known for having more sustain and brightness than many later versions, producing the aggressive, cutting fuzz that defined early 70s rock. Hand-wired construction with through-hole components on US-made PCBs, built in small batches.
Features Volume, Tone, and Sustain controls with a 3-position mid-range switch offering stock/mid-boost/flat mids—an enhancement over the original's fixed mid scoop. This addition allows the pedal to cut through dense band mixes while retaining the ability to dial in classic scooped Triangle sounds. Construction includes 3PDT true bypass, Neutrik jacks, and powder-coated enclosure. Requires 9V DC via 2.1mm Boss-style jack (no battery clip). One of Vick Audio's flagship Big Muff reproductions, capturing the strident, sustaining character of the original Triangle before the company ceased production in 2023.
