Dual overdrive pedal combining Jekyll & Hyde and Route 66 circuits with independent controls and stackable channels.
The Double Trouble combines two independent overdrive circuits from Visual Sound's acclaimed Jekyll & Hyde and Route 66 pedals into a single enclosure. Each channel features its own Drive, Tone, and Volume controls, plus bass boost switches that can be engaged separately. An innovative noise reduction system eliminates white noise when you stop playing. Both overdrives can be used separately or stacked together for increased gain and tonal complexity.
Each overdrive is based on Visual Sound's interpretation of the TS808 circuit, but with added bass response and significantly more output volume. The dual-channel design allows two different overdrive settings—perfect for rhythm and lead tones that can be switched on the fly. Built in die-cast aluminum housing with V2 Series construction and reliable 10 million cycle switching. Dimensions: 5" × 6" (126 × 153mm). Current draw: 21-24mA. Requires 9V DC power via battery or optional adapter. Visual Sound rebranded as Truetone in 2015, continuing their legacy of combining multiple effects in practical, pedalboard-friendly formats.
