Dual Tap Tempo
Two-channel tap tempo delay with up to 1000ms per channel, modulation, and time division settings.
The V3 Dual Tap Delay features two separate delay channels with up to 1000ms delay time per channel, synchronized via a single tap-tempo footswitch. Both channels offer identical core functionality with Manual Delay Time, Repeats, Effect Level, and Tone controls. Channel 2 adds a Modulation control for chorus effects on repeats. Each channel can operate in Manual or Tap mode with selectable time divisions for quarter notes, dotted-eighths, and other subdivisions.
Hybrid analog/digital circuit design emphasizes analog circuitry for tonal warmth while using custom-programmed digital ICs for delay functions. Features include external tap or click input, dual outputs (Output 2 can be wet or dry via internal switch), and configurable trailing or non-trailing repeats. Two tiny tone pots per channel act as high-cut controls for repeat character. Housed in a sleek gold casing slightly smaller and thinner than a Line 6 DL4. Dimensions: 9.1" × 5.1" (231 × 130mm). Requires 9V DC regulated power supply (center-negative), drawing approximately 120mA. Compatible with 1 SPOT power supplies. Developed before Visual Sound rebranded as Truetone in 2015.
