Visual Volume VV10
Active/passive volume pedal with 0-10 LED display, Pure Tone buffer circuit, clean boost capability, and stereo support.
The Visual Volume VV10 is an active/passive volume pedal featuring a unique 0-10 LED display—LEDs 1-4 are blue, 5 is red, 6-9 are blue, and 10 is red—providing visual feedback of volume level. The rack-and-pinion mechanism offers superior reliability compared to string-based designs. Operates in two modes: Active mode includes the Pure Tone buffer circuit (prevents tone loss from the pedal and long cables) plus a clean boost pre-amp that goes to "11"; Passive mode allows use as a standard volume pedal or expression pedal.
Features two inputs and two outputs supporting mono or stereo configurations. Dedicated tuner output jack enables silent tuning without affecting main signal. Goes from real zero to real "10" with no signal loss at full volume and no bleed-through at minimum. Compatible with bass as well as guitar. Die-cast aluminum housing with blue and red LEDs. Dimensions: 5 13/16" × 9 1/16" (146 × 230mm). Current draw: 26-30mA (varies with LED count). Requires 9V DC power via battery or optional power supply. The Visual Volume was Visual Sound's first product in 1995, launching the company—hence the company name "Visual Sound" derived from this pedal's visual LED scale. After rebranding to Truetone in 2015, the Visual Volume remained in the product line.
