Deep Six V3

The Deep Six V3 is Walrus Audio's take on studio-grade compression, drawing inspiration from the legendary Universal Audio 1176 limiting amplifier. It's designed to add sustain and even out dynamics while preserving the natural character of your instrument.

The blend control is the V3's secret weapon, allowing you to mix compressed and dry signals for parallel compression—a studio technique that maintains note attack while adding sustain. This prevents the squashed, lifeless tone that plagues many compressor pedals.

Internal charge pump runs the circuit at 18V for increased headroom and cleaner operation. Level, sustain, attack, and tone controls provide comprehensive shaping. The tone knob adjusts high-frequency content, useful for taming brightness or adding sparkle. From subtle fingerpicking enhancement to full-on squeeze, the Deep Six V3 handles it with studio polish.
