Kangra

The Kangra is a collaboration with SNL guitarist Jared Scharff, combining spatty octave fuzz with psychedelic envelope filter effects. The fuzz section offers Modern and Vintage voicings—Modern for tighter sustain, Vintage for ragged, dying-battery sputter.

The filter section includes sensitivity, resonance, frequency, and envelope controls. With envelope disengaged, it functions as a fixed filter for tone shaping. Engage the envelope for funky auto-wah sounds that respond to your pick attack. A mid switch adjusts the fuzz's midrange contour.

Both effects can run independently or in series (fuzz into filter). Individual footswitches control each section. Named after the Kangra Valley near the Himalayas, where Jared found inspiration for its trippy textures. This pedal is now discontinued.
