MAKO Series: D1 V2
High-fidelity delay with six algorithms, USB compatibility, nine presets, and stereo I/O.
The D1 V2 adds USB compatibility to Walrus Audio's flagship delay for firmware updates. Six studio-quality algorithms remain: Digital for pristine repeats, Mod for modulated echoes, Vintage for analog-style warmth, Dual for two parallel delays, Reverse for backwards textures, and Grain.
The Tweak knob changes function via toggle switch, controlling modulation, tone, or age (lo-fi grit) parameters. Attack control applies an envelope to delay trails for dreamy, swelling ambience. Three banks store nine onboard presets, with 128 accessible via MIDI.
Stereo in/out enables true stereo delay or ping-pong effects. Tap tempo with selectable divisions keeps delays musical. External tap/expression input expands control options. The D1 operates from 60ms to 2000ms delay time with trails, true bypass, or DSP bypass modes.
