Ancient Echos

The Ancient Echos combines PT2399 delay and Belton BRDR-3H reverb chips, pushing each to create textures ranging from subtle room ambience to cavernous infinite decay. The signal splits at the input: one path stays clean while the other passes through pre-delay, filtering, modulation, and plate reverb stages before mixing back together.

Six knobs shape the sound: Echo sets pre-delay time, Resonance controls reverb depth, Reflections manages the feedback loop, Dampen provides low-pass filtering, plus Rate and Depth for the built-in chorus and vibrato modulation. The Summon footswitch momentarily maxes out the Reflections control for dramatic swells. An expression pedal input allows real-time feedback control.

Built in Redlands, California, the pedal includes an internal switch to select true bypass or buffered bypass with trails. Suited for ambient players, shoegaze textures, surf rock reverb, and anyone seeking delay-reverb sounds with a lo-fi edge.
