Triangle-era Big Muff recreation. The earliest 1971-72 circuit with the smoothest, most violin-like sustain.
Recreation of a specific 1994 Sovtek Big Muff Pi built via piece-by-piece deconstruction of Matt Holl's original unit rather than cloning a schematic. Features custom-fabricated 150K potentiometers unique to this era—almost every other Big Muff version uses 100K pots.
Volume, Distortion, and Tone controls. High-gain circuit with papery grit and focused low-end. Unique component values not present in earlier Big Muff models, including the custom 150K pots that took nearly two years of development to source and fabricate.
Named for the characteristic fading of the low-quality powder-coat graphics on original 1994 Sovtek pedals. Full-size enclosure matching original Sovtek dimensions. True hardwire bypass, 10mA draw, 6.30 x 4.69 x 2.64 inches, 2.56 lbs.
