MKII Germanium Bender V2

Tone Bender MKII recreation with 3 hand-selected true vintage germanium transistors from the 1960s-70s, not reproductions. Each transistor individually tested for leakage, hFE gain, and audio-tested for excess noise and anomalies before installation.

Volume, Fuzz, and Pre-Gain controls. The Pre-Gain is a V2 addition that mimics the effect of rolling back guitar volume to find the sweet spot without actually adjusting the guitar—letting players access those cleaned-up tones hands-free. Liquidy, smooth germanium fuzz character.

The Tone Bender MKII is the circuit made famous by Jimmy Page and Jeff Beck in the late 1960s. The V2 version adds the Pre-Gain control for more versatility over the original Wren and Cuff MKII release. True hardwire bypass, 9V battery or 2.1mm adapter.
