Suppa Phat Phuk
Beefed-up clean boost with more headroom than the Phat Phuk. Pushes amps harder with a fatter signal.
Germanium/JFET hybrid boost evolved from the original Phat Phuk design with added controls for variable voicing. J201 JFET transistor at the input feeds a NOS germanium transistor, same core architecture as the Phat Phuk but with expanded tone shaping.
Volume, Phatness (high-pass filter rolling between guitar-focused mids and bass-crushing low-end), and Bias (adjusts germanium transistor voltage for more or less grit). The Phatness control bridges the gap between the guitar-voiced Phat Phuk and bass-voiced Phat Phuk B in one pedal.
Versatile boost for both guitar and bass. The JFET buffer prevents impedance issues with any pickup type. Not a transparent boost—the germanium stage deliberately adds harmonic color. True hard-wire bypass, 9V battery or 2.1mm adapter.
