Loop Gate

The Loop Gate combines an effects loop switch with a high-headroom audio gate, plus a unique LFO mode that creates tremolo-like chop effects. It's equally useful for noise reduction and creative sound design.

Controls include threshold for gate sensitivity, decay for how quickly the gate closes, and a central switch selecting between Gate and Mix modes. Gate mode switches between the effects loop and silence; Mix mode blends processed and dry signals in parallel.

The LFO chop mode creates helicopter-style stuttering that only activates when your playing opens the gate. Speed is set by the decay knob in this mode. True bypass with a dedicated gate stomp switch allows real-time enabling and disabling of the gating effect.
