Arpiona
Three-in-one limited edition: octa-synth, gated fuzz with hold-oscillation, and boost with noise filter.
A limited edition collaboration between AC Noises and Xabier Iriondo, guitarist for Afterhours, one of Italy's most respected rock bands since the early 90s. After adding both the ESPLORA and VOLA to his rigs, Iriondo joined the AC Noises team to develop a pedal idea he'd been carrying for years. "Arpiona" means "harpoon" in Italian imperative, continuing the brand's verb-naming tradition.
Three independent effects chain together inside one enclosure, yielding up to 30 sonic combinations. The Octa-Synth is a monophonic synth emulator with three octave knobs: -2 (deep sub-octave), -1 (defined one-octave-down), and +1 (one octave up), plus its own Volume. The Fuzz section features a gated character designed to interact with the other circuits, a bass boost toggle, and a hold-to-oscillate footswitch where guitar volume controls pitch and tone controls frequency cut. The Boost runs last in chain with up to +25dB of output and a "noise" toggle that adds a sputtering resistive filter.
Soft-touch relay-switched true bypass on each circuit. Top-mounted jacks. 9V DC center-negative. Hand-built in Italy.
