Dune-inspired dual discrete op-amp distortion with stackable circuits, bass boost, and diode switching.
The Mind Killer features two discrete op-amp distortion circuits wired in series, each independently footswitchable. This allows four distinct sounds: either circuit alone, both stacked, or bypass. Each channel has its own Life (volume) and Spice (drive) controls, plus toggle switches for bass boost and clipping diode modes.
The Dune-inspired naming extends to the controls and aesthetic, with SMD LEDs mounted directly to the enclosure face for a dynamic visual display. Hand-built and hand-wired in Atlanta using high-quality audio-grade components and Switchcraft jacks.
