Solid State Preamplifier

The Solid State Preamplifier captures the "wiry" cleans and aggressive gain of the Peavey Decade—Josh Homme's secret weapon for Queens of the Stone Age recordings. The Normal channel delivers the amp's characteristic clean tones; the Saturated channel provides tightly-coiled, aggressive gain.

A Thick switch adds low-end boost and extra gain, while the 3-band EQ (High, Mid, Low) shapes the overall response. The compact 1590B enclosure fits easily on any pedalboard, and 9-18V operation allows headroom adjustment. Works great on guitar, bass, drums, and vocals.
