Orbital

The Alabs Orbital is a polyphonic pitch shifter offering nine interval modes: +Octave, +5th, +4th, +3rd, Root (unison detune), -3rd, -4th, -5th, and -Octave. The detune control allows ±100 cents of micro-pitch shifting for thick chorus-like doubling or subtle stereo widening.

A standout feature is the momentary glide function—hold the footswitch to bend pitch smoothly like a whammy pedal, then release to snap back. The ∞ Explore Mode extends this further, recording 5-second parameter sweeps across rate, detune, mix, and tone for automated pitch animations.

The differential true stereo mode sends different pitch intervals to left and right outputs for wide, immersive harmonies.
