Probe Wah

The Wah Probe (often listed as Probe Wah) replaces traditional rocker mechanics with a theremin-style antenna that responds to hand or foot proximity. An RF field above the copper plate controls the wah sweep, getting brighter as you approach.

Controls include Range (maximum brightness), Volume/Drive (with SHO boost circuit), and Mix for wet/dry blending. The built-in Super Hard On can drive the wah into crunch territory or provide perfectly matched bypass levels. An internal trimmer adjusts RF sensitivity.

Without moving parts, there's nothing to wear out or squeak. The antenna responds to any wet or metallic object, opening creative possibilities beyond traditional wah sweeps. Bass players particularly appreciate the mix control for maintaining low-end while adding expression.
