Bennett Custom Audio is run by Mark Bennett, an electrical engineer based in St. John s, Newfoundland, Canada. The Sea Eagle represents his take on amp-in-a-box design, using four cascading JFET amplifier stages to replicate the gain structure of a high-power tube amplifier.

Two channels provide complementary rhythm and lead tones: the blue channel offers low-gain crunch while the purple channel delivers higher-gain saturation. Fat/Tight and Bright switches shape the frequency response before the gain stages, letting you dial in everything from country sparkle to hard rock aggression.

This is not a typical hard-clipping distortion—it is a highly dynamic, touch-sensitive amplifier that rewards every nuance of your playing. The active EQ section provides precise tone shaping beyond what passive controls can achieve.
