Slice of Pie

Big Ear Pedals was started by Grant Wilson, formerly of Brooklyn indie band The Click Clack Boom, and his partner Karen Schierhorn. Based in NYC, they design pedals with gnarly vintage character, minimalist graphics, and straightforward controls.

The Slice of Pie is Big Ears take on the Big Muff—the iconic fuzz that defined heavy sustain and wall-of-sound textures. It delivers that classic scooped midrange and thick, singing sustain that has powered countless rock and grunge records.

The circuit captures the essential Muff character: massive low end, fuzzy sustain for days, and that distinctive throaty voice. Simple controls let you dial in everything from smooth lead tones to crushing rhythm fuzz.
