Bigfoot Engineering builds all-analog pedals by hand in England. Their design philosophy eschews EQ controls in favor of meticulously voiced circuits that provide the perfect sweet spot while letting your guitar character shine through.

The Octo Puss Prime is Bigfoots analog octave-up fuzz, drawing from the classic Octavia circuit that Hendrix made famous. It adds a shimmering octave above your note, blended with fuzz for that distinctive singing, synth-like quality.

The analog tracking responds to your playing position—best results come from playing above the 12th fret on the neck pickup, where the octave effect rings out most clearly. Lower notes produce more of a ring-modulated, clangy character.

Following Bigfoots philosophy, the voicing is carefully dialed in without EQ controls to complicate things.
