Shadderbox

BLAMMO! Electronics is run by Dan Adamson, an IPC-certified builder in Portland, Oregon who previously worked in medical, aviation, and defense PCB assemblies.

The Shadderbox recreates Marc Bolan s Shatterbox—a John Hornby Skewes design combining a Zonk Machine MKII (2-transistor silicon fuzz) with a Rangemaster treble boost. The Big/Bigger toggle expands the low-end response.

The Shift knob shapes mids from scooped garage tones to cutting presence. Tone balances bass/treble. The slightly gated, round fuzz with mid-low emphasis cleans up beautifully with guitar volume.

Note: Designed for darker amps like Marshalls—can be too trebly into clean Fenders.
