The CEB-3 Bass Chorus is the current-production bass chorus in Boss's lineup, upgrading the CE-2B with a dedicated Low Filter knob and refined circuit. In production since 1995, it's the go-to affordable bass chorus.
The Low Filter control sets the cutoff frequency below which no chorus modulation is applied. This lets you dial in exactly how much of the low end stays solid and unmodulated while the upper frequencies shimmer. Higher filter settings keep more bass frequencies dry; lower settings allow modulation to extend further down.
Rate, Depth, E.Level, and Low Filter controls. At 18mA it's power-efficient. Stereo outputs for recording or dual-amp setups. The E.Level control adjusts the wet/dry mix independently from the modulation depth.
Nearly 30 years of production reflects the CEB-3's utility for bass players. Simple, effective, and correctly designed for bass frequencies. Not glamorous, but it works.
