The LMB-3 Bass Limiter Enhancer combines bass-optimized limiting with an Enhance function that adds presence and definition. It addresses the two most common bass signal problems: uncontrolled peaks and lost definition in a band mix.
The Limiter section controls dynamic peaks, preventing the volume spikes that come from aggressive slapping or uneven fretting. The Enhance section boosts presence frequencies to help the bass cut through a mix without just adding volume. Both sections can be used independently or together.
Level, Enhance, Ratio, and Threshold controls. At 17mA it's power-efficient. The Enhance function is more than a simple EQ boost; it adds harmonic content that helps bass frequencies register on smaller speakers and in dense mixes.
