The SY-1000 is Boss's flagship guitar synthesizer, combining standard pickup tracking with GK pickup support for the most advanced guitar synthesis available. Three simultaneous synth/modeling engines with deep sound design capabilities.
Three engines can each run synthesizer, guitar modeling, or bass modeling simultaneously. The GK-compatible 13-pin input enables divided pickup tracking for individual string processing. Standard 1/4-inch input works for basic polyphonic synthesis. Sound design depth rivals dedicated synthesizers.
Extensive knob-per-function control panel with color display. GK input, standard guitar input, USB, MIDI, expression pedals, stereo outputs. At 85mA it's surprisingly efficient for its capabilities. 200+ preset patches with deep user editing.
