VO-1 Vocoder

The VO-1 Vocoder uses your voice to shape your guitar tone, creating the classic 'talking guitar' effect. Plug a mic into the dedicated input, play guitar, and the VO-1 imposes your vocal formants onto the guitar signal.

Four modes: Vintage (classic vocoder), Advanced (modern vocoder with wider bandwidth), Talk Box (simulates a physical talk box without the tube), and Choir (transforms guitar into choir-like pads). The Vintage and Advanced modes require you to speak or sing into the mic while playing. Talk Box mode simulates the mechanical talk box effect.

Gender, Balance, and two parameter knobs. At 65mA it's moderate for the DSP. XLR and 1/4-inch mic inputs accommodate dynamic microphones. The Balance control mixes between vocoded and dry guitar signal.
