Soft Rains And The Smell Of The Ground
Textural reverb with momentary feedback loop for lush pads or walls of self-oscillation.
Baltimore Sonic Research Institute (BSRI Audio) named this reverb after a Ray Bradbury poem. It offers a wide palette of tones ranging from lush to brash, created with the ambient and experimental guitarist in mind.
The pedal features a momentary feedback loop that can sustain reverb trails into long evolving smeared pads or swell into blasts of feedback and walls of sound. Level sets the reverb mix, Resonance cuts or boosts low end, and Air shapes presence and treble. The Expand control works with Soak to set feedback intensity when holding the left footswitch.
Soft Rains excels when running into distortion pedals to fill space in a mix—designed for players who want to play fewer notes but make them feel like more is happening. A limited Circulatory System series created with visual artist Justin Hock features unique one-of-a-kind artwork, limited to 10 builds each.
A bold and beautiful reverb capable of sonic misadventure through the audible wilderness.
