Meteore

The Caroline Guitar Company Meteore (pronounced may-tay-or) is inspired by the acoustic character of Paris Metro station platforms. Built on the Kilobyte framework, it uses a digital spring reverb 'brick' with overdrive and regeneration controls.

Attack sets the amount of preamp gain driving the reverb. Size controls initial reverberation. Regeneration extends decay and can push the pedal into self-oscillation. A bright/dark switch shapes the reverb character.

The original signal path remains analog and pure while the controls push the reverb from traditional spring sounds to massive, otherworldly washes. Like all Caroline pedals, the Meteore can get VERY loud. Hand-built in Columbia, SC.
