Knight School Overdrive

The Catalinbread Knight School Overdrive features a two-stage gain structure with a dedicated Mids scoop control. Volume sets output, Drive controls the gain of the first stage, and the Mids knob applies up to 6dB of cut centered at 450Hz. Fully clockwise the midrange is flat; dial it back to carve out mids for a more scooped, modern voicing.

The 450Hz center frequency targets the "honky" midrange that some players find fatiguing, letting you shape the overdrive character from full and present to open and airy. Runs on 9V DC at just 0.5mA minimum, making it extremely battery-friendly.
