Naga Viper
Rangemaster-inspired treble booster with Heat, Boost, and Range controls for extended flexibility.
The Catalinbread Naga Viper lives in the tradition of the Dallas Rangemaster treble booster used by Tony Iommi, Brian May, and Marc Bolan. Unlike the germanium original, it uses silicon for consistent, noise-free performance.
Heat works as a gain control from classic treble boost to drive pedal territory. Boost sets output level using a 'hotter' component value for increased output. Range adds bass content, transforming from treble booster to full-frequency booster.
Place it after wah but before fuzz and overdrives for best results. Avoid buffered pedals before the Naga Viper. It injects that proto-metal cutting treble that helped define British rock guitar tone.
