The Catalinbread PADS Proto 365 is an ambient texture generator that layers reverb, modulation, and octave processing to create evolving pad-like soundscapes from your guitar signal. Multiple controls shape the texture density, decay characteristics, and harmonic content of the output—transforming single notes or chords into swelling, synth-like pads.

The processing creates sounds that sit underneath your playing like a keyboard pad, filling space without requiring a separate instrument. The combination of effects processes your signal into something substantially different from the input—thick, washed-out, and harmonically complex.

Designed for ambient, post-rock, and worship contexts where guitarists need to generate atmospheric textures that a conventional reverb or chorus can't produce. It's less an "effect pedal" and more a sound design tool that happens to be triggered by guitar input.
