Bootleg Dirty Delay V2
PT2399 digital delay with variable dirt control for tape-like degradation.
Daredevil Pedals is a small-batch, handmade pedal company operating out of Chicago, IL. Known for their raw approach to effects, the Bootleg brings their aesthetic to delay.
The Bootleg Dirty Delay V2 uses the Princeton PT2399 IC processor, designed to give classic tones similar to vintage tape machines. It becomes increasingly lo-fi and dirty when driven at intense or longer settings.
What sets it apart is the Dirt section - dial in gain added to the repeats. At minimum, gain is removed from the delay path for cleaner repeats. Delay time ranges from approximately 40ms to 400ms. This V2 version omits the tap tempo of the original Red V1. True bypass, hand-wired, runs only on external 9V DC with 2.1mm center-negative plug. Current draw approximately 25mA. Priced at $179.
