Diamond Pedals, founded in Halifax, Nova Scotia in 2003, became legendary for their Compressor and Memory Lane delay. The brand was reborn under SolidGoldFX in 2023 and is now built in Montreal.

The Counterpoint is a dual-head analog delay that creates rhythmic, galloping delay patterns. Building on Diamond's delay expertise from the Memory Lane, it uses two delay heads to create complex rhythmic textures impossible with single-head delays.
