The SP-9S is a variant of the SP-9 switcher with 9 loops, stereo capability, true bypass, tap tempo, buffer, expression inputs, and MIDI integration. The last 4 loops feature 'Spillover' technology preventing abrupt cutoff of reverb and delay trails.

Control amp channels via 3 CTRL connectors (TRS format providing 6 controls). Accept Wah-Pad or external footswitches on 3 EXP-IN inputs, plus expression pedals for volume/MIDI control. 6 tempo functions, 16 MIDI messages per preset, 8 per bank. Uses Burr Brown Texas Instrument components for unmatched transparency and signal respect.
